Getting a date.

It's been some time since I last posted. So much has happened with work, school, and life! Lol, but we keep going!!!!
In any case, I'm back. Let me pick up from where I left off in my previous post.
I finally received approval for my H1B from the U.S. government, allowing me to apply for a visa. It's important to note that I didn't pay anything for this process. I decided that if the employers requested money, it would indicate they were scammers. However, they never asked for any payment throughout the entire process, which amazed me.
I was unsure about how to schedule an appointment with the Embassy in Nigeria, but fortunately, my employer emailed me a detailed step-by-step guide. I followed the instructions, but the appointment date I received was a year away. I sat in front of my laptop, contemplating my next move.
I was scheduled to begin work in August, but it was July, and the next available date was a year away. This situation provided the perfect chance for negative thoughts to reemerge and invade my mind. Ideas such as "I'll lose my job," "this job isn't meant for me," "I don't deserve this job," and many others crossed my mind. All orchestrated by the devil himself. However, we Christians understand that he is the greatest of deceivers.
I prayed about my situation, reminding God that if this job was His gift to me, every obstacle should be removed. And guess what? God did it.
He told me to email the attorney who handled my H1B approval. She responded, suggesting that I schedule an emergency appointment. Although there's no guarantee I'll secure it, she recommended that I attempt it.
Before I attempted, I prayed, placing it in God's hands. I applied for the emergency appointment on a Sunday evening, and by Monday evening, I received an email stating my application was approved, with a new date set for Wednesday. Once more, God amazed me! I stood up, dancing and singing praises to God. I then rushed to share the good news with my parents. Together, we all danced and celebrated, giving thanks to God.
But wow... the devil wasn't done trying to shake my faith. He returned with even more force on the morning of my interview.
TO BE CONTINUED IN MY NEXT POST!
